Devour the Day, hailing from Memphis, TN, took the stage like a breath of fresh air. While certainly metal, DTD mixes a youthful energy and dynamic guitar work into a performance that instantly connects to the crowd. With recent success from their single, “Good Man,” this band is making the most of their current traction. Lead by Joey Chicago, bass, and Blake Allison, lead vocals, the band pulled out a high energy set complete with massive circle pit, insightful lyrics, and marshmallows and a sling shot. Fans loved this band’s set. Maine Music News had the chance to meet with Joey and Blake after the show and that interview will follow in a day or so. Check it out.
